General Meeting and Autumn Conference December 2025 in Budapest
Dear members,
We would like to share some news with you.
Tamás Tóth (Zichyfarm) Young Generation member will now support Béla Jankovich, ELO delegate and board member, in the ELO collaboration. We are very pleased that Tamás has proactively come forward and wish him every success!
Save the date
This year, our Maintusz Autumn Conference will take place later than usual. Please make a note of the date: 4-5 December 2025, as requested by some: close to the weekend.
Of course, we hope that our new state secretaries will attend (Dr. Zsolt Felmann was replaced in March this year). Our board has already met with the new officials to ensure that Maintusz's good relationship with the ministry continues. We very much hope that this will give members the opportunity to get to know the state secretaries and at the same time obtain information about the KAP 2025 and the prospects for 2026, how the Ministry is preparing for the elections, and what legal means it intends to use to ensure that its long-term goals are achieved.
Furthermore, our board plans to invite the Agricultural Chamber NAK (Nemzeti Agrárgazdasági Kamara), so that members have the opportunity to get to know the chamber and what it has to offer better.
The programme is still being planned, but the date is set for Thursday and Friday, 4-5 December 2025, as always at the Magyar Tudományos Akadémia.

Every member and/or every organ of the Association is entitled to submit a request to the President of the Association to discuss an item on the agenda - including the reasons for the addition - within eight days of receiving the invitation to the General Meeting.
The President decides on additions to the agenda. If the President does not make a decision on the request or rejects it, the General Assembly shall decide on the addition separately before the resolution on the adoption of the agenda is passed.
Members may also be represented at the General Meeting by authorised representatives. The authorisation must be in the form of either a public document or a private document with full probative force. The General Meeting is quorate if more than half of the regular members are present.
Pursuant to Section V.2 2.3 of the Articles of Association and Section 3:76 (3) of Act V of 2013 (hereinafter: the Civil Code), if the General Meeting is not quorate, a repeated General Meeting with the same agenda shall be held. There must be a minimum of three and a maximum of 15 days between the General Meeting that is not quorate and the repeated General Meeting.
The repeated General Meeting is quorate within the scope of the agenda items communicated in the original invitation, regardless of the number of attendees.
